Short description
In the Bachelor's degree course in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, students acquire knowledge in basic disciplines such as mathematics and physics as well as in the core areas of electrical engineering and information technology. From the sixth semester onwards, students set their own individual focus by choosing their courses. In addition, the compulsory industrial internship and the final thesis offer students the opportunity to specialize. As part of these courses and assignments, students have the option to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of energy technology.

Admission requirements
The prerequisite is a general higher education entrance qualification. In addition, sufficient knowledge of English at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) must be demonstrated. Proof must be provided in the form of a school leaving certificate or comparable certificates by the start of the 4th semester at the latest.

Research and development as well as project management in the following areas: 1. Renewable energies: development and optimization of wind and solar power plants. 2. Smart grids: integration of renewable energies into intelligent electricity grids; ensuring grid stability 3. Energy storage: development of storage systems 4. Electromobility: development of charging infrastructures and efficient drive systems for electric vehicles
