Short description

The Master's degree course in Mechanical Engineering is a consecutive full-time, on-campus Master's degree course. It comprises 90 ECTS in 3 semesters. The course is a technical-scientific degree program with a special focus on applied engineering sciences, based on current research and development activities based on scientific working methods. The aim is to enable graduates of the program to not only apply complex engineering processes, but also to master the theoretical background on which these processes are based and, building on this, to develop skills with which engineering methods can be further developed. In addition, graduates are aware of the social and ecological relevance of their activities, know how to classify and reflect on these and assess their consequences.
