Short description

What characterizes unsustainable ways of living and doing business in modern societies? How did what is become? What promotes or inhibits a socio-ecological transformation? These are the questions addressed by the interdisciplinary Master's program in Transformation Studies at the European University of Flensburg. The study program addresses socio-ecological causes and consequences of current environmental and sustainability crises. Students and lecturers analyze and discuss possible solutions proposed in science and society from a growth- and domination-critical perspective under the guiding principle of sustainability. The students are provided with different scientific theories and findings and spaces are opened up for creative thinking and action.
