Short description

The aim of the Wind Energy Engineering degree program is to train graduates to perform qualified functions in the field of planning, development, construction and operation of wind turbines and wind-powered systems. In the study semesters with classroom lectures, the required technical, environmental and energy management knowledge is imparted in the compulsory modules. In the elective modules, students specialize in the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental or economic aspects of wind energy. In addition, in the third semester of study, one of the specializations electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or structural engineering is chosen. This trains generalists with specialized knowledge who can be employed in all areas. The entry requirement is a completed bachelor's degree in engineering.
