Short description
Researches and teaches in the spatial-quantitative aspects of sustainable energy systems, including energy access in the Global South, geographic energy planning, and environmental-social potentials of sustainable technologies. Lead author and developer of the Pan-European Thermal Atlas Peta. Leads the development-oriented, international degree program M.Eng. Energy and Environmental Management at the European University of Flensburg.
