Short description
Josephine Semb is a researcher for energy economics and the design of just transition policies. She is working at the Europa-Universität Flensburg in the energy and environmental management section under Prof. Dr. Pao-Yu Oei. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in economics on the effective design of a socially viable and economically feasible heating transition with a focus on small heating systems. In her 4 years of research experience, she has mainly worked on coal phase-outs worldwide and how they affect the social structure.
